BLUE BABE
Billowing silk wiggled
through a chilled beach
The soles of their feet
were gripped by wet sand
and minerals
that are said to cure
or prevent
The silk was a piercing blue
a metallic kiss to the eye
It was the new gold,
this blue;
and it made his lover’s eyes glow
when he watched it move
across his body,
and through the winded beach
Black swarmed by a metallic blue
His lover zoomed in,
inching toward him,
dropping his camera
pausing the shoot
He went in for an embrace
and the silk had pulled him in
wrapped around the both of them
by its loose bottom
Their love was then…seamless
All the extra fabric was a good call
